Llantrisant is a widespread rural community of approximately 150 adults of whom about 40 live in the mixture of houses around the church., which is Grade I listed. The current building has its origins in the middle ages when it was probably dedicated to Ss. David, Teilo and Padarn.

St Cybi’s, Llangybi
St Cybi's, Llangybi
Llangybi is situated in the Usk valley, about ten miles north of Newport, and three miles south of Usk, and surrounded by beautiful countryside. Although worship in Llangybi has continued since its patron saint, Cybi founded a simple ‘Llan’ on the site in the 6th century; the present building is thought to date from the 13th century with the tower having been added in the 14th century.
