LiFT 28th July

Good afternoon everyone,
How are you all? I feel like I’m a little out of touch with you all, despite your wonderful efforts to make contact. Thank you for your continued care, you really are very generous people.
I am feeling much much better, almost myself, which may or may not be a good thing!! So please don’t hesitate to expect normal levels of activity to return next week, and I hope to catch up with everything swiftly and effectively. Please let me know if you think I have dropped any balls, I won’t be offended!
On Sunday we have a group service in St. Peter’s Church Goytre. It’s at 10.30am and is the only service that day. I will be preaching and the sermon is not coming easily, which may or may not help you decide whether you want to be there. Please do come, I’m only joking. These group services are a wonderful opportunity to worship in a full church, with good singing, and the chance to bump into old and new friends.
In other news, have you seen the amazing local work that has been going on to support Ukrainians living locally? Day trips, coffee mornings, lunches. It’s an extraordinary effort. Please keep a look out for all that is happening and if you have some time to spare, I know your friendship would be appreciated.
With my slower week I’m not sure I have much more to tell you about. Please know that I continue to pray for you and I hope yo see you soon.
Just Five Minutes will return properly next week – Mondays and Thursdays.
With love,
Sally xxxx
